THE Attorney-General’s Chambers has filed an appeal against the high court’s decision to acquit a woman from the charge of murdering her Indonesian maid, said Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim, citing “reliable sources” within the chambers. In a statement today, Sim said that his sources also confirmed that a probe is ongoing into why the deputy public prosecutor had chosen to drop the case.
