The best time for Australians to spot the ZTF comet is between 6 and 11 February, depending on your location.How to spot the ZTF comet? Point your binoculars roughly north, in an area with as little light-pollution as possible, and look for the bright green glow. The ZTF comet is understood to have originated from the Oort Cloud, a spherical shell surrounding the rest of the solar system which Tucker said “is just barely there”.
