High school students listen to Elander Williams in the exhibit she created in her basement.Groups of teenage students lined up outside Elander Williams’s brownstone in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn last month for an intimate tour of her cellar. Ms. Williams has been welcoming curious individuals inside her home for years, but this February was the first time school classes visited.
