The Department of Health recorded a total of 9,107 COVID-19 infections from May 29 to June 4, which is once again lower than the previous week’s 11,667 cases. COVID19PH | zacariansINQ
Based on the DOH’s weekly released data, the infections translated to a daily average of 1,301 or 22 percent lower than the 1,667 recorded from May 22 to 28.Seventy-seven infections, or 0.85 percent of the recorded cases, were tagged as critical or severe, with active critical or severe COVID-19 admissions currently at 559.
On the other hand, 10 deaths were added by the DOH during this period, three of which occurred in the past week.
