Shadow Trade and Tourism Minister Kevin Hogan says it is “very important” the new Australian tourism program succeeds in China as they were our biggest tourist market pre-COVID.

“We are the most expensive country to come to just in government charges, let alone the airline flights,” Mr Hogan told Sky News Australia. “Our outbound flights out of Australia into other countries are full inbound and, on the way, back in, they are half empty.”
