Nationals MP Keith Pitt has backed Opposition Leader Peter Dutton's call for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to visit Israel as the ongoing conflict continues.
Peter Dutton has called for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to stop in Tel Aviv on his way to the United States next week, arguing visiting Israel should be the"priority" for any international travel."I think that that would demonstrate very clearly Australia's support of Israel."He discussed the ongoing unfolding conflict seen between Israel and Hamas.
"No one wants to see a very large conflict kick off again in the Middle East," Mr Pitt told Sky News Australia."And we need to make sure that Australia provides the support that's requested."
