It would take “something quite seismic” for the Liberals to lose the seat of Cook if former prime minister Scott Morrison was to retire at the end of the year, says Sky News reporter Cameron Reddin.

“He holds the seat of Cook in Sydney’s south – about a 12 per cent margin,” Mr Reddin told Sky News host Erin Molan.

Their Party went into the recent Aston by-election with a “6.5 per cent margin – you’d take essentially double the Aston effect if you like, in order to remove Scott Morrison.”
