The tasering of 95-year-old Clare Nowland is the “biggest police scandal in years” and it gets even worse, says Sky News host Sharri Markson.

“After Clare Nowland was tasered, police sent in to investigate are understood to have removed her clothes – her pyjamas – for examination, she was understood to have been left naked in the hospital, in her own bed – the indignity is horrendous.” Ms Markson said.

Ms Markson said this isn’t the first case of police brutality towards an elderly woman suffering from dementia. “I showed you the other night the awful footage the Guardian published of police handcuffing, twice, Rachel Grahame, who weighed just 45kg.“ brother, Robert, stole a packet of biscuits from a Sydney convenience store one night in 2012 and was chased by police and then tasered more than a dozen times – he died.”
