Senior minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the police had taken action against the quarantine breakers.

He said police and heath officials had conducted 2,078 checks on those still undergoing home quarantine. Ismail said people with disabilities registered under the Welfare Department are also eligible to have their quarantine costs exempted, along with students from the B40. Ismail said police detained 104 people yesterday for flouting Covid-19 restrictions. Five were remanded and the remaining 99 fined.
