8-year-old boy hit by vehicle while walking to school in north Harris County, Pct. 4 says

An 8-year-old boy is being transported to the hospital after constable deputies with Pct4Constable said he was hit by a vehicle in north Harris County Thursday. precinct4 kprc2 click2houston hounews

This morning around 8:30 a.m., a Booker Elementary Student was struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street at the intersection of North Vista and Imperial Valley. Harris County Sheriff’s Officers first arrived at the scene to assist the student, who was coherent, until EMS arrived.

Spring ISD Police Department assisted with additional investigative tasks to support the scene and the well-being of the injured student. The student was transported to Texas Children’s Hospital in the Woodlands for minor abrasions, and the driver was given several citations for failure to yield. Our thoughts are with the student and their family as they deal with this difficult situation.
