Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara, Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani berkata, IPD Lahad Datu tidak mengambil tahanan baru buat masa ini, manakala tahanan di daerah itu akan ditempatkan di lokap balai polis berdekatan.
“Lima daripada mereka kini ditempatkan di lokap IPD Lahad Datu, manakala 3 lagi di Penjara Tawau,” katanya ringkas. Sementara itu, Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara, Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani berkata, 76 pegawai dan anggota polis yang bertugas di IPD Lahad Datu serta ahli keluarga mereka sudah menjalani ujian saringan Covid-19.Beliau berkata, mereka semua sedang menjalani kuarantin di rumah susulan pengesanan kluster Benteng di IPD itu.
