Star Wars has brought back several fan-favorite Legends characters, but some are almost impossible to incorporate into the canon timeline.
Some of Star Wars' most beloved characters first appeared in the Legends universe, and while it's great when they can return in new stories, Disney Star Wars has made it almost impossible for some of them to become canon again. Star Wars canon has brought back some fan-favorite Legends characters, including Beilert Valance and Grand Admiral Thrawn, and there's still room for others to return, as well.
7 Thrackan Sal-Solo Another Star Wars Legends character with a prominent family, Thrackan Sal-Solo is even less likely to appear in canon. A cousin of Han Solo who looked almost exactly like him, Thrackan Sal-Solo was a recurring antagonist in Star Wars Legends, and would be a thorn in the Solo family's side on multiple occasions.
5 Bevel Lemelisk Another Legends character affected by Rogue One was Bevel Lemelisk, the station's original architect. Even though Galen Erso didn't design the entire Death Star in canon, he did help the Empire build it, and he developed the station's primary weapon. This means that Galen Erso will forever be associated with the Death Star, as well as the flaw that led to its destruction.
