Potential Sherlock season 5 or movie storylines.
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Though it has been around six years since BBC's hit series Sherlock came to an end, fans of the show are still clamoring for a season 5, and creator Mark Gatiss has hinted that a movie could be the next step, however where will the series go next in terms of story? Sherlock is a mystery crime series based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's iconic characters Sherlock Holmes and John Watson.
Ideally, in Sherlock season 5 or a Sherlock movie, Molly would get the justice she deserves after spilling her feelings without a clear response. The best option would be the season showing Molly moved on from her obsession with Sherlock. Considering his lack of emotional availability, it would be great to see Molly not only healed from her feelings, but also, potentially moved on with someone else. Then again, there is also the chance that Sherlock and Molly could be together.
5 John And Sherlock Realistically Raising Rosamund Another somewhat forgotten character is Rosamund Watson, the daughter of John and Mary. In the first episode of Sherlock season 4, "The Six Thatchers," John's wife Mary is killed after she takes a bullet for Sherlock. This event is completely shocking, and worse, leaves John alone to raise their infant daughter. And while the remainder of season 4 sort of sees that, it isn't explored nearly to its fullest extent.
