The G.I. Joe and Transformers franchises are finally getting a crossover movie, and it should include these 8 characters from G.I. Joe.
After Transformers: Rise of the Beasts confirmed that G.I. Joe was set in the same universe, there has been much speculation as to which G.I. Joe characters should appear in the live-action crossover should it ever happen. G.I. Joe has three live-action movies to date, and while it has introduced some critical characters from the franchise, there are plenty of great characters and fan-favorites who have yet to be included, and plenty of moments to look forward to in the G.I.
Simply put, Serpentor is one of the most powerful and intelligent villains in the whole G.I. Joe universe. As such, it would be a shame for Serpentor to stay out of the live-action universe for long. Serpentor is a powerful enough villain that he could become a long-term antagonist in the franchise's live-action continuity. His cunning would also be perfect for fighting both the humans of the G.I. Joe universe, and the sentient transforming robots of the Transformers universe.
6 Sgt. Slaughter Sgt. Slaughter, whose persona is based on American professional wrestler, Robert Rudolph Remus, would make another fun addition to the G.I. Joe Transformers crossover. Sgt. Slaughter serves as the G.I. Joe team's special drill instructor, which is notable because all G.I. Joes are certified drill instructors. Slaughter being the one to train the other Joes speaks to his mindset and skills as an operative.
4 Zartan Zartan is a fascinating villain from the G.I Joe franchise who would make a good addition to the crossover with Transformers. He is a mercenary and the leader of the Dreadnoks. In the comics and animated series, Zartan often worked directly with Cobra Commander, and was one of the franchise's main villains. He is another great candidate, along with Serpentor, to be introduced as a long-term villain in the live-action continuity.
