8 Malaysians duped, stranded in Liberia return home

Eight Malaysians, who found themselves stranded in Liberia after being falsely promised jobs, arrived at KLIA today. They were greeted upon arrival by the foreign minister. – EPA pic, March 4, 2019.

EIGHT Malaysians, who were stranded in Monrovia, Liberia, since February 4 after being cheated by a job syndicate, arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport today. The Sarawakians, aged between 39 and 66, were welcomed by Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah at the airport. They then departed KLIA on an afternoon flight to Sarawak.
