Over 8,000 Makati City local government unit employees will receive up to P20,000 in incentives following the passing of a city ordinance on the said allocation, the city government announced. | JMangaluzINQ

“Over 8,000 Makati City Hall employees will receive up to P20,000 as Service Recognition Incentive after the local city council approved ordinances for its immediate funding.

City Ordinance No. 2022-A-168, passed by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Makati last week, authorizes the allocation of P163,998,000.00 for the SRI,” the LGU said in a statement.According to Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, 3,434 regular, 4,695 casual, and 17 contractual employees will receive the SRI.On the other hand, 2,259 job order employees will receive P5,000 and rice assistance.
