Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob says enforcement agencies are continuing to tighten Malaysia’s borders.

He said one was remanded, 35 freed on bail and 42 compounded for taking part in activities that made social distancing difficult, and going against the SOPs. “The government will continue to act against anyone trying to enter the country illegally, and enforcement agencies will continue to tighten border control, especially along illegal routes,” he said.
