Seventy-four Filipinos from war-torn Sudan were repatriated to the Philippines on Thursday.

According to Luisito Santos' report on Super Radyo dzBB that the seventh batch of repatriates arrived in the country from Riyadh via Saudia flight SV862.

Forty-four of the repatriates were overseas Filipino workers, seven were students, and 22 were children and infants. Five individuals, meanwhile, refused to return home due to incomplete documents, doubts, and because of their families in Sudan. A total of 183 Filipinos have safely arrived in the country since the conflict broke out in Sudan on April 15 after violence erupted between the forces of the two generals who seized power in a 2021 coup: the army chief and his deputy, who commands the powerful paramilitary Rapid Support Forces.
