A seven-year-old girl from Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia, has made history by winning the 63rd International Children and Youth English Speech Contest. Amatullah Hamidah Muhammad Luqman Al Hakim participated in the online competition on January 23rd. The contest, organized by the Global Arts, Sports and Culture Association (GASCA) based in Hong Kong, aims to discover talent from around the world. Her mother, Hasmah Darwis, attributes her daughter's success to regular Quran recitation and memorization. Hasmah also emphasizes the importance of limiting screen time and engaging in enriching activities like religious lectures and outings.
KUALA TERENGGANU: Seorang kanak-kanak perempuan dari negeri ini mencipta sejarah dinobatkan sebagai juara dunia dalam Pertandingan Pidato Bahasa Inggeris Kanak-kanak dan Belia Antarabangsa Kali Ke-63, baru-baru ini.
Pertandingan itu dianjurkan oleh Global Arts, Sports and Culture Association yang berpangkalan di Hong Kong, China bertujuan mencungkil bakat kanak-kanak dari seluruh dunia. “Sekarang, dia belajar di Pusat Asuhan Tunas Islam Al-Furqan, Chendering dan hafazan al-Quran banyak membantu menguatkan daya ingatannya. Sejak dia kecil, saya dan suami, sentiasa mengalunkan bacaan al-Quran dan zikir agar Amatullah Hamidah membesar sebagai anak yang cergas dan pintar.
