A total of 64,420 examinees passed the Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) held nationwide last March 26, the Civil Service Commission said on Tuesday, June 13. ManilaBulletin READ:
“Mula sa CSC, malugod na pagbati sa lahat ng mga nakapasa sa Civil Service Exam; we are looking forward to working with you in the civil service, where your expertise and passion will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our nation. For those who did not make it this time, do not lose hope and remember that you can always try again. Determination, coupled with persistence, will surely help you in your journey to becoming civil servants,” said CSC Chairperson Karlo Nograles.
CSC explained that applicants who pass the CSE Professional Level are granted the Career Service Professional Eligibility, which is a requirement for permanent appointment to first and second-level positions in the government covering professional, technical, scientific, and managerial positions and requires at least four years of college studies.
On the other hand, Subprofessional Level passers shall be conferred the Career Service Subprofessional Eligibility, which shall be appropriate for permanent appointment to first-level positions such as clerical, trades, crafts, and custodial service positions requiring less than four years of college studies.
However, the CSC said that eligibility alone does not guarantee employment in government service. Applicants must meet all the qualification standards of the position, which comprise education, training, experience, and eligibility.
