The Women’s Empowerment Programme organised by Penampang Community College received an encouraging response with the participation of 60 people.
PENAMPANG: Its Chairperson, Noraini Idris, said the programme offered five short-term courses for free. “If given the opportunity and space, women can be the main driving force in productivity and national economy on par to men.
“Nowadays, there are many women who are capable of becoming successful entrepreneurs and can be seen as a source of inspiration for other women,” said Noraini in the opening ceremony here, on Sunday.
