Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano officiated the wedding of 60 couples at the “Kasalang Bayan” or town wedding held at the Pasay City Astrodome on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Rubiano, Congressman Antonino Calixto and Vice Mayor Ding Del Roasio served as godparents of the couples.Rubiano said they conducted Kasalang Bayan in celebration of the heart month.Rubiano told the couples that they already have their best friends with whom they can share their love in building better families.
She also assured the couples that they can consider her, the congressman, and the vice-mayor as their family.
