About 60,000 students of Ogun State origin in tertiary institutions of learning in the country would benefit from the N50,000 palliative of the state government.
Tagged Educational Cash Award For Student Help , it is an intervention programme for learners in public and private tertiary institutions across Nigeria, to cushion the effects of the economic challenges on learners and their parents.
Arigbabu also said the state government is targeting 10,000 indigent students in public primary and secondary schools in the three senatorial districts to get N10,000 cash too. Also expressing their gratitude to the governor, Adebayo Farouq and Olatinuke Olajumoke , and Liadi Israel of D.S Adegbenro ICT Polytechnic, stated that the cash awards would cater for their projects and support the part payment of their tuition fees.
