Here are the 6 steps you need to take to return to work amid the coronavirus outbreak:
Family members are no exception. A virus survives on hosts, and a virus does not care who the host is, whether they are a loved one or a stranger. If you live separately from your parents, siblings or children, this is not the time to make exceptions to physical distancing and have in-person family gatherings.This is a hard one. It is not your responsibility to enforce mask-wearing and distancing measures, but it is frustrating to see other people not doing their part.
Much of the recommended behaviors and practices, like wearing a mask and physical distancing, are there to protect others from you. So, think of your reason for speaking up as you wanting to protect the other person. You want to come offYou might say, “Would you please step to the side so I may pass?” Don’t order someone around. People do not like being told what to do. Don’t shame someone. Be polite, and don’t make a big deal about it.
If you want to get back to work, you have to take steps to get you closer to where you want to be. Wear a mask, practice physical distancing, stay home if you feel sick, don’t travel for pleasure and speak up when others may be unaware of what they are doing.
