KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 586 officers from the public sector, government-linked companies and the private sector have been accredited as certified integrity officers.
"The programme was introduced in 2010 to strengthen governance and integrity in the relevant sectors. Certified integrity officers are tasked with planning, implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of integrity programmes while fostering a work culture with high integrity aimed at preventing corruption, he added.
