KotaBharu MAIK melantik 50 sukarelawan yang berperanan mendapatkan maklumat asnaf di setiap jajahan di Kelantan.

Yang Dipertuanya, Tengku Temenggong Kelantan, Tan Sri Tengku Mohamad Rizam Tengku Abdul Aziz berkata, mereka akan mengenalpasti asnaf yang sebelum ini tercicir daripada memperoleh agihan zakat.

“Cara ini lebih cekap kerana mereka tidak lagi perlu ke ibu pejabat MAIK di Kota Bharu untuk membuat permohonan,” katanya. Hadir sama, Timbalan Yang Dipertua MAIK, Zulkifle Ab Rahman dan Mufti Kelantan Datuk Mohamad Shukri Mohamed. Menurutnya, tahun lalu kutipan zakat yang diperoleh pihaknya sebanyak RM195 juta, manakala RM183 juta pada 2018.
