50% hotel ditutup kerana Covid-19, kata kumpulan industri

“Tinjauan yang dilakukan pada 16 April menunjukkan trend membimbangkan di mana 15% hotel berhasrat untuk terus menghentikan operasi sementara 35% lagi ditutup untuk sementara. “Kami meramalkan pemilik dan jenama utama menggabungkan harta tanah mereka sementara jenama tempatan cenderung ditutup secara kekal,” katanya.“Di peringkat industri MAH merancang kempen ‘Bersih & Selamar Malaysia’ di mana hotel yang memenuhi syarat akan disahkan ‘Bersih & Selamat’ oleh pihak berwajib,” katanya.
“Jadi hotel dilengkapi dengan SOP dan polisi untuk melindungi kedua-dua tetamu serta orang awam tanpa mengira Covid-19 atau penyakit lain atau masalah keselamatan,” katanya.
