Pasar Kajang ditutup selama lima hari selepas lima peniaga disahkan dijangkiti Covid-19. – Gambar fail The Malaysian Insight, 26 Mei, 2020.Seramai 261 pekerja menjalani saringan Covid-19, katanya kepada The Malaysian Insight.“Pejabat Kesihatan daerah Hulu Langat akan membuat pengumuman lebih lanjut hari ini,” katanya.

Pasar berkenaan yang sebelum ini dijadualkan dibuka semula esok namun dilanjutkan sekurang-kurangnya sehingga 1 Jun selepas peniaga mula dikenakan kuarantin pada 18 Mei. Pintu masuk dan keluar dari pasar basah ini disekat dan kenderaan dilarang masuk namun hanya penjalan kaki dibenarkan memasuki kawasan berkenaan.

Kawasan sekitar pasar berkenaan terdiri dari kedai runcit yang menjalankan perniagaan borong dan Hee percaya perniagaan tidak akan terjejas.“Tetapi saya rasa tidak ada masalah asalkan anda mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga,” katanya. – 26 Mei, 2020.
