a pure ’90s and early ’00s R&B nostalgia fest, is making its debut at the Queen Mary festival grounds in Long Beach on Saturday, May 27., the single-day event also includes performances by Keyshia Cole, Fabolous, Bobby V, Pleasure P, Chingy, 702, Ruff Ends, Nivea, Marques Houston, Blaque and Lil Flip. The day will be filled with iconic R&B tunes reminiscent of the days we rocked those ringtones on our old Motorola Razr flip phones.
A few of these acts even joined forces to deliver some chart-topping duets back in the day, so there’s potential for some special live collaboration. Here are some of the jams we’re hoping to hear at the I Love RnB Festival. It wouldn’t be a proper Chingy performance without hearing the fans singing along to “I like the way you do that right thurr.” Millennials fell in love with the St. Louis-based rapper’s 2003 single and now Gen Z has given the track a new life on TikTok.
