Apart from enjoying the views, visitors can experience other activities at the ranch such as tractor wagon rides and field tours. The flowers here don’t bloom in spring but in the midsummer days instead.
Before harvesting, though, the estate will open its doors to the public who wish to walk through the fields to check out the flowers and take pictures. There will be meadows and gardens filled with gorgeous marigolds, salvias, cleomes, petunias, geraniums, and more. There are also activities for visitors to enjoy like story-telling competitions for the kids, an Easter egg or bunny hunt, and special performances by the Circus Oz troupe.In South Korea, spring arrives first on Jeju Island. Hokkaido is typically known for its winter and seafood, but did you know that flowers are also a big deal there? In the city of Furano, for example, thousands of tourists – both local and international – flock to the farms located within the Furano Flower Fields to see lavender blooms in July. Most of the farms will harvest and process the flowers into essential oils. Some farms will even have tours that show how they extract the oils from the flowers.
