Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, announced that 448 children from charitable homes associated with GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) have been returned to their families. The minister clarified that 5 children are under the care of suitable individuals, while 107 are placed in eight Social Welfare Department institutions due to court orders. Nancy emphasized that parents who wish to reclaim their children should not be deterred by concerns about government actions and urged them to communicate with the ministry. She stressed that the ultimate decision should prioritize the well-being of the children and that parental love is irreplaceable.
“Kami menjalankan tugas berdasarkan undang-undang.
