44 Malaysians stranded in Pakistan expected home this week

FORTY-FOUR Malaysians stranded in Pakistan since February 27, following the closure of the Islamic republic’s airspace, are expected to return home by this weekend. The Malaysian high commission in Islamabad, in a statement on Facebook, said 41 of 85 Malaysians left in stages since Saturday via Islamabad and Karachi, with transits in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai and Jeddah.
