KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Komersial Bukit Aman merekodkan kerugian akibat jenayah komersial lebih RM3.1 bilion sepanjang tahun lalu.

Menurutnya, jenayah komersial paling banyak direkodkan bermula awal Januari sehingga hujung Disember adalah melibatkan jenayah penipuan sebanyak 37,240 kes melibatkan kerugian keseluruhan sebanyak RM2.45 bilion. “Kes melibatkan salah guna harta dengan curang pula adalah sebanyak 62 kes dengan kerugian RM66.29 juta, jenayah siber 720 kes , pemalsuan 128 kes dan wang palsu sebanyak 950 kes melibatkan kerugian RM1.16 juta.

Menurut Ramli, kira-kira 40 peratus daripada jumlah kertas siasatan dibuka pada tahun lalu iaitu 16,813 kes berjaya dituduh di mahkamah.
