ZAMBOANGA CITY – An orange rainfall warning was raised on Saturday night as rains spawned by the shear line and wind convergence battered at least 10 barangays here.Mayor John Dalipe here ordered the deployment of rescue teams to Barangays Tumaga, Putik, Guisao, Culianan, Boalan, Mercedes, Cabaluay, Cacao, Sangali, and Boalan after these areas reported heavy flooding.Around 13 houses in Sitios Limbu and Look in Barangay Tumalutab were damaged by strong winds around midnight on Christmas Day.
Dalipe and Vice Mayor Josephine Pareja here led the distribution of relief goods and sleeping kits to affected families.
