40 in human trafficking syndicate nabbed in Johor
JOHOR police have arrested 40 members of an organised crime syndicate involved in human trafficking activities for the past several years.
Johor police chief Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said the operation codenamed Op Benteng, was carried out by the Johor Criminal Investigation Department in collaboration with Bukit Aman’s D3 & D4 divisions in several locations around the state from June 4 to 7.
