JUMLAH tahanan pendatang asing tanpa izin di Sabah melebihi 7,000 orang setakat 8 November, menyebabkan semua empat pusat tahanan sementara di negeri ini sesak, kata Ketua Menteri Mohd Shafie Apdal. Bagaimanapun, beliau berkata operasi menjejaki warga asing masih diteruskan dengan sebanyak 6,018 operasi bersepadu dijalankan oleh agensi penguatkuasaan termasuk Majlis Keselamatan Negara, negeri Sabah, Kawasan Keselamatan Khas Pantai Timur Sabah dan Polis Diraja Malaysia.
