JOURNALIST Jorge Armenta was killed yesterday in northern Mexico’s Ciudad Obregon, making him the third reporter murdered this year, said authorities. “An armed attack has been confirmed that took the life of Jorge Armenta,” who was director of digital media outlet Medios Obson, tweeted the regional prosecutor’s office.
