Mojapelo said the latest incident happened on Sunday when a 12-year-old boy, Thabang Mogofe, drowned in the Tubatse area outside Burgersfort after falling into a huge hole that was reportedly dug up by a road construction company. Members of the SAPS Search and Rescue Unit were activated, and on arrival at the scene, the child's body was retrieved by the divers from the depth of three metres.
