Tech business Intercom has announced a 13% cut in its global workforce, which will result in 124 job losses across every department and region

In Ireland, this means 39 roles are at risk of redundancy and 14 roles from the US will be relocated to Dublin.

The company, which makes customer communication and support software, said it has notified the appropriate government officials and would soon enter into a 30-day consultation period for roles at risk of redundancy this month. "These changes put the company in a strong and healthy position to execute our new, more focused strategy and big plans for the next year and beyond," the company added.
