KUDAT: The State Government has provided an allocation of RM54.05 million in this year’s budget to be channelled as financial assistance to schools and non-Muslim religious organisations throughout Sabah.
Of that amount, RM23 million is allocated to schools and RM31.05 million to non-Islamic religious bodies. Daily Express Malaysia
Assistant Finance Minister Datuk Julita Majungki said, with the allocation, a total of 1,810 financial aid approvals had been given, 346 for schools and the rest, 1,464 for religious bodies. “If compared to last year’s approval of 1,516, this year there is an increase of 294 approvals.
