KUALA LUMPUR: The government has confirmed public holidays for Wesak Day on 31 May and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Birthday on 1 June. Kesuma said the Agong’s Birthday is a mandatory non-replaceable holiday under the Employment Act 1955 for eligible private sector workers in Peninsular Malaysia and Labuan.
