THIRTY-ONE Indian families in Sepang, Selangor, who have been trying to get the deeds to their homes for decades are close to seeing their dreams come true, Tamil dailies reported.Nineteen former plantation workers in Kampung Sepang Kecil and 12 families in Ladang Tumbuk have faced many obstacles in getting the deeds, Tanjung Sepat state assemblyman Borhan Aman Shah said.Borhan, who is also the Selangor Mentri Besar’s political secretary, said the matter was close to being resolved with the signing and submission of the application forms by the residents.

The families should see their appications reviewed and approved in the next two months.> Indian citizens working overseas sent back US$79bil to their families in 2018, making it the highest once again, Makkal Osai reported.
