A fire razed a residential area at Block 32, Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong City on Sunday morning, Feb. 12.
Around 300 families were displaced by a fire that razed more or less 100 houses at Block 32 Extension in Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong City on Sunday morning, Feb. 12.The Bureau of Fire Protection raised the fire to the first alarm at 6: 55 a.m., then to the second alarm at 7:21 a.m.
The fire quickly escalated to the third alarm at 7:23 a.m. and again to the fourth alarm at 7:27 a.m.The BFP said the fire has been put under control as of 8:34 a.m. It was declared fire out at 9:32 a.m. Residents whose homes were affected by the blaze carried the belongings they could salvage to the streets.The cause of the fire is under investigation by the BFP.
