TACLOBAN CITY — Three men were arrested at a checkpoint in Allen town, Northern Samar on Tuesday morning for alleged carjacking and transportation of “shabu” valued at P7 million.
Amenolah Mamao, 32; Aminollah Mohammad, 43; and Jabbar Azis, 29, driver of a Toyota Vios were detained at the Allen police station.Lt. Col. Ritchie Claravall, the officer-in-charge of the Regional Highway Patrol Unit of the Philippine National Police, disclosed that the vehicle was flagged down at a checkpoint in Barangay Jubasan, Allen at about 3 a.m.
During the inspection, the driver of the vehicle presented documents that were later discovered to be spurious. It was not clear yet where the vehicle came from.
