3 teens injured in shooting at SW Houston event hall where hundreds were gathered for birthday party

The three teens, who were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center and are all expected to live, were among a crowd of hundreds of other teenagers at a birthday event on the 13100 block of South Post Oak Boulevard when shots were fired around 11:20 p.m. Saturday.Witnesses described a frenzy among the crowd after the shooting, and many of the partygoers stuck around afterward even as police swarmed the area.
“Don’t go to no parties in Houston,” said one witness who had gotten a gash on his forehead from falling on the ground during the shooting. “It’s not cool, bro. Stay at home.”
