Three individuals were reportedly injured after seven electric posts fell in Binondo, Manila on Thursday afternoon, August 3.
According to the Manila Police District , the incident occurred at around 1 p.m. at the corner of Quintin Paredes and Ongpin Streets.Members of the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office are currently in the area to secure the residents from the live wires attached to the posts.
Manila Public Information Office Communications Head Lawyer Princess Abante said that Manila Electric Company also dispatched personnel and linemen to respond to the incident.The Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau said the roads near the incident are now closed.The authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
