VIENTIANE (Xinhua): The Laos National Taskforce Committee for Covid-19 (coronavirus) Prevention and Control on Tuesday (June 16) announced it has been monitoring 3,449 people across the country.
Deputy Director General of the Department of Communicable Disease Control under the Ministry of Health Latsamy Vongkhamsao told a press conference here that 3,449 people have been quarantined at 94 accommodation centres across the country.
As of Monday, Laos has tested 11,000 suspected cases with 19 cases tested positive, and all of them have been discharged from hospitals.
