Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Hafisham Mohd said the Selangor Operation Centre received a call anout the fire at 3.29am.“Upon arrival, they found 270 barrels in flames and there was an explosion. The barrels were placed at a 2,500 square feet open space,” he said in a statement today.

He added that the firefighters managed to fully control the fire at 5.58am, and there was no injury reported. Hafisham said the area was far away from residential areas but they were informed that a resident complained of feeling nauseous and vomiting. The resident has been sent to the hospital.
