Twenty-seven wanted persons, including five most wanted persons, were arrested in a manhunt operation in Cordillera from March 5 to March 11.
Records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division showed that Benguet Police Provincial Office has recorded the highest number of arrests with 11 wanted persons, followed by the Baguio City Police Office with seven arrests, Abra PPO with five arrests, and two arrests each for Ifugao PPO and Kalinga PPO.
BGen. Mafelino Bazar, regional director of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera said highlighting the week’s manhunt operations were the arrest of five most wanted persons, including one each in provincial level and the city level, two at the municipal level, and one at the station level. Meanwhile, 65 municipalities in the different provinces of the region and Baguio City remain peaceful as PROCOR recorded zero crime incidents during the same week.
Zero crime incidents were recorded in 26 municipalities of Abra, five municipalities in Apayao, nine municipalities in Benguet, six municipalities in Kalinga, nine in Mountain Province, and 10 in Ifugao.
