25yo Woman Carrying Triplets Suddenly Discovers She's Expecting 9 Babies During Follow-Up Scan

A 25-year-old mom-to-be from Nanchang County, China, was expecting triplets after struggling to get pregnant for almost a year of marriage.

Guangzhou Daily reported how Ms. Hou went for a check-up at the hospital and discovered that she had multiple cysts and endometrial polyps in her uterus, which had made it tough for her to conceive in the first place.The doctor recommended an ovulation-stimulating injection to help with ovulation, and eager to become a mom, Ms. Hou followed through with the advice in early October this year and took the injection.“I was so happy when I found out I was pregnant.

But on November 12, during a follow-up check, the results unexpectedly showed 9 gestational sacs close together in her uterus.“I’m feeling really nervous right now. Before this, I was worried she couldn’t get pregnant, and now we’re expecting 9 babies. I’ll follow the doctor’s advice on how to take care of the pregnancy,” he said.
